Return & Refund Policy

At UMD, we are committed to your complete satisfaction and stand behind the quality of our products. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which Uma Daivaana Traders ("we," "us," or "our") will accept returns and issue refunds for purchases made on our website. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. General Policy & Non-Returnable Items

To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and product integrity, all brushes, brooms, mop heads, and any product intended for direct cleaning use are FINAL SALE and NON-RETURNABLE. Due to the sanitary nature of these items, we cannot accept them back once they have left our fulfillment center. This policy is strictly enforced for the safety and well-being of all our customers.

2. Eligibility for Return & Refund

Returns are accepted only under the following specific, verifiable circumstances:

  • Incorrect Item Received: The product you received does not match your order confirmation.
  • Damaged or Defective Item: The product arrived with visible physical damage or a manufacturing defect.
  • Missing Quantity: The shipment is incomplete, and one or more items from your order are missing.

3. Mandatory Requirement: Unboxing Video Proof

To ensure a fair and transparent process for all parties and to protect against fraudulent claims, video evidence is a strict, non-negotiable requirement for all return requests.

You must create a single, continuous, unedited video recording from the moment you receive the sealed package.

The video must clearly and legibly show:

  • The unopened shipping box/package with the shipping label fully visible.
  • The entire unboxing process in one shot, without pauses or edits, until all contents are revealed.
  • A clear, close-up view of the specific issue (e.g., the damage, defect, or the mismatch between the received item and your order invoice).
Requests submitted without this mandatory video proof, or with videos that are edited, unclear, or do not meet the above criteria, will be declined without exception.

4. Conditions That Void Return Eligibility

Returns and refunds will NOT be issued under any of the following circumstances:

  • Customer Unavailability: If the customer is not available to receive the package, refuses delivery, or the package is returned to us unclaimed.
  • Changed Mind / Dissatisfaction: The product does not meet subjective expectations, including color variations on screens or natural material inconsistencies.
  • Normal Wear & Tear or Improper Use: Damage resulting from normal use or improper handling after delivery.
  • "Final Sale" Items: Any product categorized as non-returnable per Section 1.
  • Late Claims: Requests initiated after the claim period has expired (see Section 6).

5. Return Shipping & Costs

  • If your return request is approved, the customer is solely responsible for the cost and logistics of returning the item(s) to our designated address, which will be provided upon claim approval.
  • You must use a traceable courier service and provide us with the tracking number.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for the return, as Uma Daivaana Traders is not liable for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

6. Claim Period & Initiation Process

All return/refund claims must be initiated within 48 hours (2 calendar days) of the package's recorded delivery date. Claims reported after this period will not be entertained.

To initiate a valid claim:

  • Contact: Email support@umdmops.in or WhatsApp +91-9876543210.
  • Subject/Reference: Include your Order ID.
  • Evidence: Attach/share the mandatory unboxing video as specified in Section 3.
  • Description: Briefly describe the issue.

Our support team will review your claim. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization and the shipping address for returns.

7. Refund Process

  • Upon receipt and verification of the returned item(s) at our warehouse, we will process your refund.
  • Partial Refunds: In cases of missing quantity, we will refund only the value of the missing item(s). No restocking fees are applied.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account after our approval.

8. Our Rights & Policy Changes

All decisions regarding the approval or denial of a return/refund request are final and at the sole and absolute discretion of Uma Daivaana Traders.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or change this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that transaction.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
